To deconstruct the human body as if it were a broken machine is the obsession of Vladimir Velickovic, a painter born in Belgrade in 1935. It was during his childhood, while Yugoslavia was occupied by the Nazis, that horror insinuated itself in him, becoming the essential subject, the only one that remains eternal.
