Painter and engraver, but also a poet and musician, Nissan Engel is a versatile artist who has made engraving his favorite mode of expression. Using warm colors combining red with orange, or gradients of bright blues, he speaks to us about music heard, exiles lived, cities glimpsed, parties organized, and all the small traces of the past that, when put together, form nothing less than our present.
