Artistic movement mainly affecting architecture, decorative arts, painting, and sculpture, born around 1860 but flourishing at the end of the Victorian era in Great Britain, Its main representative is William Morris. Arts and Crafts is the precursor of the Modern Style (the Anglo-Saxon equivalent of Art Nouveau). It highlights the harmony between man and nature, favors curves and other arabesques, and pays tribute to the magic of nature. Although American and later than this movement, architect Frank Lloyd Wright is attached to it due to his tendency to integrate his constructions into their natural environment.
