Biography of Alain Bonnefoit

Alain BONNEFOIT was born in Montmartre (where he still lives) in 1937.
First a student at the Applied Arts, then at the Fine Arts, he later went to Brussels to continue his training alongside the sculptor Volti, with whom he has remained faithful.

His technique is a blend of the exotic "sumi-e" from Japan (drawn with Chinese ink where a single freehand stroke is used for an entire drawing) and the traditional oil of Europe, with a preference for Mediterranean colors.
