To keep in mind

Hergé, whose real name was Georges Remi, was a Belgian comic book author, a pioneer of the European comic book movement. He is best known for creating The Adventures of Tintin, an iconic series that began in 1929 with Tintin in the Land of the Soviets. His artistic style evolved into what would be called "ligne claire," a clear graphic style influenced notably by his friendship with the Chinese artist Tchang Tchong-Jen. Among his major works, The Blue Lotus (1936) marked a turning point in his career, with a more documented and realistic approach. In 1950, Hergé founded the Hergé Studios, a workshop that helped him perfect his art and meet the growing demand for his albums.
