Simone Bianchi, born on July 10, 1972 in Lucca, Tuscany, is an Italian artist who has been passionate about superheroes since childhood. At the age of fifteen, he started publishing humorous comics and met his mentor, Claudio Castellini, in 1994. Bianchi has illustrated various comics and album covers for metal bands. In 1999, he taught at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Florence and published his first art book, followed by several other artistic projects. In 2004, Bianchi began working for DC Comics thanks to Mike Bair, then signed an exclusive contract with Marvel in 2006. He collaborated on series like Wolverine, Astonishing X-Men, and Thor: For Asgard. Bianchi attributes his success to Michael Bair and uses various techniques to give a realistic aspect to his works.
